Funcom announced the layoffs last week, just a few months after "the biggest release" in the company's history.

The Outsiders was acquired by Funcom in 2021, the latter of which announced major layoffs earlier this month.

And yet, despite the apparent success of publisher Funcom, it wasn't enough for them to keep the doors open at The Outsiders.
