According to Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer, the team is set to hire AC Carter as their new outside linebackers coach. The position was left vacant by the dismissal of Tem Lukabu, who spent the 2023 and 2024 campaigns on Carolina’s staff.

Former Los Angeles Chargers coaches just keep making waves during the hiring cycle. Right on the heels of a former Chargers coach landing a job as a coordinator with the Miami Dolphins, another has landed with the Carolina Panthers.

According to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, the New England Patriots will be hiring the 38-year-old as their tight ends coach/passing game coordinator. The Patriots, who hired Mike Vrabel as their new head coach earlier this month, will be the third stop in as many years for Brown.
