Kentucky officials continue to investigate at least three deaths after confirming one storm-related death Jan. 26.
The massive storm dumped heavy snow and ice across a huge swath of the United States, leaving nearly 600,000 homes without power and more than two dozen people dead.
Most school districts including, Tuesday, Jan. 27, after as bitter cold grips the region following a weekend snow storm.
More than 2,000 people in Todd and Trigg counties experienced power outages from the storms this past weekend, said Brent Gilkey, vice president of member services for Pennyrile Electric.
