La Crosse residents get a look at preliminary drawings for a new 550-student elementary school. It's expected to be complete by the start of the 2027-28 school year.

Columbus County Schools leaders say that about 700 elementary students were excited last week to see layouts of the new Bolton school they’ll begin attending in a couple of years.
