A woman was brought to a hospital Sunday after she was stung by a scorpion at Boston Logan Airport, Massachusetts State Police said.

“At approximately 7:30 p.m., a 40-year-old female was stung by a scorpion while retrieving luggage in the baggage claim area of customs,” police said in a statement. “The female party was transported to an area hospital for treatment.”

A downed wire caused a power outage and flight delays Monday morning at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. Officials at the airport said on X that the outage was “impacting areas of the main terminal” and the hourly parking garage. Crews were working to restore power.

A power outage at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Monday morning led to a number of inbound flights being diverted. As of 9:50 a.m., the airport reported power was slowly being restored to areas in the main terminal.

A 3 1/2-hour power outage Monday at Baltimore-Washington International Marshall Airport caused significant flight delays and some cancellations.
