This year, the company toned down its emphasis on Apple Intelligence and concentrated on updates to its operating systems, services, and software, introducing a new aesthetic it calls “ Liquid Glass ” along with a new naming convention.

The power of Apple Silicon has already made the MacBook Pro a favored device for AI development, and the announcements at WWDC consolidate that status. If you want a machine that can build AI, makes use of AI, and can even run its own on-device AI to support the work you’re doing, get a Mac.

Yep, Google and Microsoft are ahead now, but taking the time to deliver a thoughtful, truly useful AI approach is very Apple, and it's ultimately the right move.
