In a video on his YouTube page, the 54-year-old said the compromise formula — wherein Pakistan will reportedly get the hosting rights for the Women’s World Cup in 2027 instead of financial compensatio

According to reports, Pakistan will host 10 games in the tournament, while all India games will be held in Dubai.

Although Pakistan were awarded the hosting rights of the Champions Trophy in 2021, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had communicated to the ICC last month about the country’s government’s refusal to send its team across the border for the eight-team tournament.

According to a report by Sports Tak, the Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in the hybrid model, where India will play their matches in Dubai, while the rest of the tournament will be held in Pakistan.

The ICC will finalize the 2025 Champions Trophy format. India and Pakistan will play in Dubai. The tournament will have eight teams. The top two teams from each group will go to the semifinals. The PCB agreed to the hybrid model.

The eight-team ODI tournament is set to commence on February 19, with the final slated for March 9. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will serve as the host for the Champions Trophy 2025.

The PCB has agreed with the CT 2025 terms, with the condition that the Pakistan Cricket Team will not travel to India for the league-stage clash against India, and they will be held in Colombo.
