Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed the club have suffered a fresh injury blow with Cristhian Mosquera facing "weeks" on the sidelines.

Arsenal ’s injury problems have deepened after Christian Mosquera was withdrawn before half-time during Wednesday’s home clash with Brentford. The Arsenal centre-back landed awkwardly after contesting for a header with Kevin Schade, required treatment on the pitch before being replaced by Jurrien Timber.

Arsenal fear Cristhian Mosquera will miss at least six weeks, with the defender set to undergo further tests to establish the full extent of his ankle injury.
