There's no official word on who will be starring in the Friday Night Lights reboot, but, based on recent remarks from several of the original series' cast members, it will likely feature a new cast of coaches, players, and pigskin-loving Texans.

Fans first fell in love with the fictional Dillon High School Panthers football team in 2004 when the movie Friday Night Lights premiered. The original film, which was inspired by the 1990 novel of the same name, was directed by Peter Berg and starred Billy Bob Thornton, Tim McGraw, Amber Heard and Connie Britton.

Taylor Kitsch says he's won't be part of the highly anticipated " Friday Night Lights " reboot -- he has his sights set on something else. At the red carpet premiere for "The Terminal List: Dark Wolf" on Monday night, Kitsch opened up to The Wrap about whether he would be involved in the upcoming reboot.
