New Jersey Devils leading scorer Jack Hughes had shoulder surgery and is out for the season. The team said Hughes had surgery on his right shoulder on Wednesday with the expectation that he will be ready for training camp.

The Devils say Jack Hughes is expected to make a full recovery and be available for 2025 training camp after having season-ending shoulder surgery Wednesday.

The injury occurred when Hughes was inadvertently tripped by Vegas forward Jack Eichel, his recent USA teammate at the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament. Hughes crashed hard into the
