Chicago police announced a woman has been charged in the Lincoln Park shooting that left a man dead last week. Kevin Patel, 28, was found shot in the 800 block of West Lill Avenue, just west of Halsted Street,

Kevin Patel, a 28-year-old Indian-American man, was shot in Chicago’s Lincoln Park on April 16. The motive remains unknown. He died during treatment, and the Cook County Medical Examiner identified him late the following night.
