The Mavericks seem to be struggling to keep the NBA’s worst-kept secret. It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that Dallas will be selecting Duke star Cooper Flag with the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft on June 25 at Barclays Center.

And while Flagg to Dallas is the worst-kept secret in the NBA right now, the Mavericks seemingly jumped the gun in announcing the news on their official team website 12 days before they can officially confirm they're picking the Duke phenom, according to Front Office Sports.

The Dallas Mavericks have made their intentions pretty clear about selecting Cooper Flagg as their No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft.
