CLEVELAND, Ohio — With his first 10 days up, the Cavs had a decision to make on undrafted rookie Nae’Qwan Tomlin.

The Cleveland Cavaliers made a few roster moves Sunday, locking in a rising talent to the roster by signing Nae’Qwan Tomlin to a two-way contract.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed forward Nae’Qwan Tomlin to a two-way contract, Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts. Tomlin (6-8, 205) signed a 10-day contract with the team on February 10th and appeared in three games for the Cavaliers.

Nae’Qwan Tomlin started close to the bottom and now he’s here. More specifically, Tomlin started with the Cleveland Charge after going undrafted, then signed a 10-day deal with the Cavaliers.

The Cavs waived JT Thor to make room for Tomlin. This leaves Tomlin, Emoni Bates, and Luke Travers on two-way contracts. The Cavs still have one open roster spot. Head coach Kenny Atkinson liked what he saw from Tomlin in his recent 10-day contract.
