Will Harrisburg see a white Christmas this year? Here’s what forecasters think
A 2018 PennLive report found that Harrisburg’s last white Christmas, which is defined by at least 1 inch of snow accumulation on the ground, took place in 2012. Forecasters with the NWS and AccuWeather in past years noted it is “not common” to see snow in and around Harrisburg in late December because too many conditions need to be met.
