Natalie shared a farewell message for Vincent Trocheck and his wife, Hillary, thanking them for their hospitality. It has been just over a month since the New York Rangers acquired J.T. Miller. The forward was traded after a devastating spell with the Vancouver Canucks where he was part of a public feud with Elias Pettersson. But he seems to have found his mojo in the Big Apple.
Since arriving in Vancouver, Miller had been an elite point producer with stretches of excellent two-way play. This season didn’t go as smoothly as his feud with Elias Pettersson boiled over. Miller was also clearly banged up starting from opening night and took a significant leave of absence.
Like Miller, Mogilny had a 100+ point season with the Canucks, putting up 55 goals and 107 points in the 1995-96 season, which is fourth-best in franchise history. Mogilny also exited the Canucks with the second-best rate of points-per-game in franchise history at the time behind Bure and is now third behind Miller.
