We could see up to an inch of snow, most areas will stay with a dusting to a quarter of an inch. Ritz says there will be minimal impacts for the morning commute. Wind gusts will be near 40 mph with temperatures in the upper 20s, but it will feel like we are near 10 degrees.
Gusts up to 50 mph are possible in southwest Oklahoma this afternoon, so a wind advisory is in effect for that portion of Texoma. We will have a nice day on Friday with high temperatures expected to reach the 70s with mostly sunny skies.
However, Scottish Borders Council's planning committee voted by five to three to oppose the Teviot wind farm project. It will trigger a public inquiry into the proposals before they can get the go ahead. Officials made their recommendation after the company made "significant changes" - including reducing turbine numbers.
