Before he was taken into custody, the allegedly stolen tow truck’s driver, whose identity has not been released, took police on a slow-speed chase through West L.A. and the San Fernando Valley.

SkyCal flew over the standoff where the driver could be seen out of the truck talking to police. During the pursuit, the driver ran through several red lights on surface street intersections.
