Washington — The Supreme Court on Thursday cleared the way for the deportation of several immigrants who were put on a flight in May bound for South Sudan, a war-ravaged country where they have no ties.

The Supreme Court delivered a win Thursday to the Trump administration, ruling that a lower-court judge had overstepped by trying to block the deportation of eight criminal illegal migrants to South Sudan despite a previous high court order.

It doesn't matter if the individuals in question have ties to the war-torn African nation, a departure from normal procedure.
