Tiger Woods' The Genesis Invitational could be staying in California, moving from Riviera to Torrey Pines amid the Los Angeles Wildfires

The tournament, which Woods hosts and whose foundation is the beneficiary, is played in Pacific Palisades, the site of the largest of the Los Angeles fires.

The Genesis Invitational is set to be played at Riviera Country Club in fired-ravaged Pacific Palisades on Feb. 13-16.

The Genesis Invitational is far from the only sporting event impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. The NBA's Lakers and Clippers and NHL's Kings have had games postponed. Monday night's Wild Card Weekend matchup between the LA Rams and Minnesota Vikings was moved to Arizona as well.

Golfweek has learned that the PGA Tour is in the final stages of negotiations to move the 2025 Genesis Invitational to Torrey Pines in La Jolla.

The PGA Tour is moving the Genesis Invitational to Torrey Pines, the site of this week's Farmers Insurance Open, according to a Golfweek report.

More than 150 pro golfers will compete for $9.3 million in prize money at the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open this week at Torrey Pines Golf Course. The PGA tournament tees off Wednesday and finishes Saturday at the iconic La Jolla course.
