An event honored Martin Luther King Jr. Day by helping to bring warmth to those in need in Luzerne County. The Jewish Community Center in Kingston held a 'Blankets and Broth' event in observance of the day of service.

American activist who put his life on the line to bring equality and justice to all during the Civil Rights movement died, but those who honor the reformation Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. created continue to remember his name.
