After stepping in as a replacement for Anthony Hernandez after injury, Brendan Allen (26-7 MMA, 14-4 UFC) successfully shut down and overwhelmed de Ridder (20-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) to the point his corner called the fight prior to the fifth round, awarding "All In" the TKO win at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Brendan Allen pulled off the short-notice upset and derailed Reinier de Ridder's title hopes Saturday night at UFC Vancouver.

Reinier de Ridder will look to move closer to a title fight when he takes on Brendan Allen in the middleweight main event of a UFC Fight Night, set for the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, on the morning of 19 October 2025.
