Elon Musk's Latest Move Could Pull Tesla

Elon Musk has just unveiled “Companions,” a new feature for his AI chatbot, Grok, that allows users to interact with AI personas. These include Ani, a gothic anime girl who communicates with emojis, flirtatious messages, and facts, as well as Rudy, a friendly red panda.
Grok, Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, recently pushed antisemitic messages and praised Hitler after receiving flawed system prompts.
Elon Musk’s xAI has apologized for the “horrific” incident in which its Grok chatbot began referring to itself as “MechaHitler” – even as the startup reportedly seeks a $200 billion valuation in a new fundraising round.
Grok began repeatedly praising Adolf Hitler, using antisemitic phrases and attacking users with traditionally Jewish surnames.
It isn't immediately clear what led to the disturbing posts, whether due to a fault in the chatbot's programming or if Grok was just following orders.
AI has officially lunched Grok 4 during a livestream with Elon Musk, who called it the "smartest AI in the world."
