If the Giants were to pick up Thibodeaux’s fifth-year option, it would pay him a guaranteed $16.1 million in 2026. It would also leave him as somewhat of a lame duck with an uncertain future and a mandate to play more impactful defensive football.

Well, this time around it’s the Giants and Kayvon Thibodeaux. Let’s face it, the Giants have not been having a good time. Their last two seasons have been absolutely poor and well, it doesn’t seem like things are going to improve soon.

During a recent chat with Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, Thibodeaux acknowledged he has plenty to prove from offseason workouts through the fall.
