After facing opposition from local and state leaders, a pay raise for people who drive for rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft goes into effect Dec. 1.

ST. PAUL, Minn. ( Minnesota Reformer) – A new minimum wage for Uber and Lyft drivers in Minnesota takes effect on Sunday, the result of a hard-fought, two-year campaign to raise drivers’ wages, insurance coverage and protections from unfair discipline.
