Republican lawmakers criticize nationwide protests against President Donald Trump as federal government shutdown continues over spending disagreements.
Thousands are expected to flood downtown Dallas on Saturday to protest the policies of the Trump administration. Dallas is one of some 2,500 cities across the country with planned “No Kings” protests. In North Texas, protests are planned in Fort Worth, Plano, Denton and Frisco, among others.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in Waco and Belton Saturday as part of No Kings Day, joining rallies across the nation against the Trump administration.
Phil Mickelson, a staunch President Donald Trump supporter, made a social media post appearing to mock nationwide "No Kings Day" protests against GOP priorities.
