Gaza’s Rafah border crossing with Egypt will reopen on Monday, nearly a week after a US-brokered ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas, the Palestinian embassy in Egypt announced.

Netanyahu linked the continued closure of the Rafah crossing to the return of the bodies of Israeli hostages and Hamas' compliance with a previously agreed framework.
