Ontario Premier Doug Ford has called for economic retaliation against the U.S. after Stellantis decided to move Jeep Compass production from Canada to the U.S.

The decision comes as a part of a broader revamp at the automaker, which has unveiled a $13 billion investment plan to bolster its U.S. business and dodge tariffs. Stellantis will produce the Compass in Belvidere, Illinois, along with the Jeep Cherokee.
