Multiple warnings have been issued across Northern Ireland from midnight on Thursday.

Storm Éowyn is being fuelled by an unusually powerful powerful jet stream in which wind speeds of more than 250mph have been recorded. The low pressure system is currently tracking across Northern Ireland and over to Scotland, with the strongest winds expected on its southern flank.

Storm Éowyn – pronounced "ay-oh-win" – and the fifth named storm of the season will undergo rapid development during Thursday as it moves across the Atlantic.
