People across the Houston region are wrapping pipes and stocking up on supplies as government and CenterPoint emergency crews prep for what could be the most snow the region has seen in decades. The arctic cold front has already dropped temperatures in Southeast Texas and the region is under a winter storm warning from 6 p.

Our winter storm continues on track for the Houston area. We are expected snowfall accumulations that have not been seen in the city of Houston since 1960. Snow, graupel, and sleet have started falling and freezing rain will be possible overnight into early Tuesday morning.
