This is Needles Highway - the most scenic drive in South Dakota. This is such an incredible experience driving through winding roads in the Black Hills with amazing views and granite spires. 💰There is a $20 fee for Custer State Park to do the drive, but the pass is good for a week. 🚙The drive will take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on how much you want to stop and check things out. 🐐We saw some animals and you may too! Just 90 minutes from Rapid City, South Dakota you’ll find the Needles Highway within Custer State Park. This scenic drive is famous for its towering rock spires, tight tunnels, and epic black hole views. Entry is $20 for 7 day access and RVer’s beware that the clearance on the famous tunnel is just 8 ft wide and 9’9” tall. My van fit but it was tight!!
