From 5:30 yesterday until 5:30 this morning Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers stood vigil at the Launceston Cenotaph. From all reports, they did a truly fantastic job. The youngest ones (one as young as 5 years old) stood for 15 minutes each. The older youth stood for 30 minutes at a time. There was an amazing bunch of youth that stayed all night under watchful eye of their leaders.
