Today is International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples. Canada’s history is fraught with injustices directed at indigenous peoples. Today Canada encourages reflection on the treatment of indigenous peoples around the world. Reconciliation means acknowledging the truth. It requires each of us to educate ourselves, & work in partnership with Indigenous Peoples on the path forward.
