🍺 ☎️ If you've got used to seeing QR codes stuck on to tables in restaurants to place your order, well it seems like a London pub got there first. Back in 1965, Tomorrow’s World entered a pub "of the future" in Hackney Wick. Instead of waiting staff taking orders, customers could simply press a button (and wind a rotary phone!) to send their order straight from the table.
