Pentland Ferries has launched an investigation in to why the mv Alfred grounded on Swona earlier this afternoon. The Marine Accident Investigation Branch are also expected to arrive in the county tomorrow to begin a separate investigation. The ferry has been taken out of service until at least Monday so that the damage can be assessed. One person has been taken to Balfour Hospital following the incident which happened around two o' clock this afternoon. The vessel had 84 passengers and 13 crew o
