There’s a new baby in town, lucky number 13 has arrived! ✨ A male reticulated giraffe calf was born on Thursday, February 5, becoming the 13th offspring sired by “Niklas” at the Zoo. Standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing just over 130 pounds, the calf is already making a big impression as the Zoo’s newest long-legged arrival. The calf was born to “Wendy”, an experienced mother who has now welcomed five calves at Memphis Zoo. The calf has been named August, a choice rich with m
