Dr. Andrew Wakefield, in an interview with Michael Knowles, exposes what he calls a deliberate cover-up by the CDC regarding the hepatitis B vaccine’s link to autism. He claims the vaccine, once containing the mercury-based preservative thimerosal, posed severe risks to infants. Wakefield alleges that thimerosal, a highly toxic mercury compound, was present in hepatitis B vaccines given to newborns in amounts far exceeding EPA safety guidelines. He says this exposure was linked to a sevenfold in
