Gov, Kathy Hochul announced that three individuals were aboard the MV Hondius, the vessel hit by a rare hantavirus outbreak, are New Yorkers. “There are three individuals who call New York home. We don’t know whether those individuals will be returning to New York. I believe that there is a 42-day monitoring period,” Hochul said.
