A detailed look around Flagstaff Lake, Mount Bigelow, and the Dead River channel that still can be seen coursing through Flagstaff Lake 70 YEARS after the lake was created via flooding with the Long Falls Dam back in 1949. This is one of the best times of year to see the course of the Dead River under the lingering ice.
