At the National Corvette Museum, the famous Skydome once held about 25 Corvettes, but a massive sinkhole in 2014 swallowed eight specific cars, including rare prototypes and milestone Corvettes like the One-Millionth. While some damaged cars were restored, the Skydome now features exhibits documenting the event, and the museum overall showcases over 80 Corvettes from all generations, not just those in the dome area. | Lou Ann Marks
